Ipswich Town star could leave Portman Road at the end of the season

McGoldrick is out of contract at Portman Road at the end of the season and despite the fact that the player is yet to be offered a new deal by Ipswich Town, the striker has admitted that he could look to leave the club and move closer to his family in Nottingham.

The player has battled against some niggling injury problems which has sidelined him for long periods over the past couple of years however McGoldrick is arguably one of Ipswich Town’s most important squad members and the club cannot afford to lose him.

  1. Maybe it is time for him to move on. I think we need a complete freshen up …and also start to build a team around our home grown youngsters. Actually beginning to lose faith in the lot of them !

  2. Losing David mcGoldrick would be a totall lose to us. such a great player and the travel from his home is Commitment of total professional and is worthy of a new contract.
