BBC pundit: Rangers may have been in talks with 58-year-old manager

Rangers have been without a manager since sacking Caixinha on October 26th and fans are starting to get impatient at the time the board have taken to find a new boss.

McLeish was in charge for five-and-a-half years during his first stint at Ibrox and won two Scottish titles, two Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups before leaving in the summer of 2006.

f McLeish does take charge at Rangers he would be the third man to have been appointed as permanent manager twice after Jock Wallace and Walter Smith.
