£15m cheaper; should Wolves drop expensive misfiring target for 12-goal bargain?

Bargain buy

Though Wolves will have money to spend in January, however, it doesn’t mean they should not turn their back on good value. Croatian publication Jutarnji List says Wolves and Aston Villa have made an offer to sign Victoria Plzen talisman Michal Krmencik in January, the striker valued at just £2.7 million.

While Jorgensen has struggled in his second season for Feyenoord, netting three times in nine league games, Krmencik has 12 goals in 13 for Plzen this season at the time of writing – and looks wonderful value at such a reduced transfer fee.

But will Wolves make another statement signing – or an astute bargain buy?
