Should Chelsea actually sign Carroll, Conte could end up playing the big man not off of Morata, but paired with Eden Hazard. This would give Conte a dual threat up top and in turn create a ton of chances for the Blues.
Leaving West Ham will be a huge step in Carroll’s career, especially at just 29 years old. Due to his style of play, Carroll could play well into his thirties, so a big move to Chelsea could be great for his career. Leaving the passionate fans of West Ham to make the jump to a bigger London club could be seen as a poor move, but at this point, Carroll should not hesitate to take the leap.
