Newcastle United are hoping to strike a £10 million deal for Chelsea loanee Kenedy this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper report that manager Rafa Benitez is hoping to open talks with the Blues over a permanent deal for the Brazilian once Newcastle’s Premier League safety is guaranteed – possibly by beating Arsenal on Sunday.

The Mail claim that Benitez had tried to include a loan-to-buy clause in the deal that brought him to Tyneside in January, but Chelsea did not agree, and therefore his price has not been determined.
