5 Signings Celtic Could Make Before the Transfer Window Closes

While Scott McKenna has been linked with a move to Celtic, it’s Souttar who could represent the better value for the Hoops. The Aberdeen defender has already been subject to a bid from the champions, but his side deemed the £3.5million offer not good enough. And you’d be shocked if Celtic go above that number to land him. Instead, they’ll likely look elsewhere and Souttar could be someone who interests. The Hearts defender has just this week earned a call-up to the Scotland national team – reward for his fine form for the Jambos. He’s got a deal at Tynecastle until 2020 and therefore should come cheaper than McKenna. He’s a ball-playing centre back who has learned the art of defending under Craig Levein over the last year. He could be a perfect fit for Celtic.
