Steven Caulker recently became a free agent after he left Scottish outfit Dundee and we believe it would be a right idea for Bielsa to make a move for the former Tottenham Hotspur defender.

There were reports earlier that the Whites were looking to sign him in August for £1.5m. Now the deal has turned sweeter as they can land the 26-year-old for free.

Bielsa had earlier commented about his transfer strategy and said that he would want to have two players for each position.

That means he should have four centre-backs for the two centre-half spots in the team. Conor Shaughnessy is also back after a long injury lay-off, so the Whites do have four centre-backs at their disposal.
